The Road There
From Chambéry or Lyon, the route runs the A43 and A430 past Albertville, then the full length of the Tarentaise valley through Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Val d'Isère.
From Geneva, the drive follows the A41 and A43 past Annecy and Chambéry before joining the same route.
This is one of the longest drives from any gateway airport Vezzora serves; the final stretch beyond Bourg-Saint-Maurice climbs steadily to 1,850 m. Winter tyres or chains are compulsory equipment in the Savoie department in winter.
