From Turin, the route runs via the A5 motorway up the Aosta Valley to Châtillon, then the mountain road up to Breuil-Cervinia.
From Milan Malpensa, the route joins the A4 motorway to Santhià, then the A5 up the Aosta Valley to the same Châtillon turn-off.
